Flycutting pistons?

Flycutting pistons? How difficult is it? Can it be done at home by a "shadetree mechanic", or is it better to have someone more experienced do it? I am thinking about getting some heads and would like to mill them down so I can get around 11:1 compression and I know that I would have P/V clearance issues.

Do you really want to cut your factory pistons with them still in the engine?
Are you planning on running any N20? Because the sharp edges left by cutting the pistons could cause detonation unless you smooth them over.
Have you considered just installing some new pistons or running a smaller cam?

ForceFed High Performance has an article showing how to use the Isky cutter. Looks like it could easily be done the way they show the piston taped over. That first cut would still be kinda scarey though I'm sure.
