Default looking for some replacement Lifters

I have a 2001 4.8L
Did a Cam swap a while back, and need to replace the lifters, because one of them is bleeding down, and unable to keep up with the higher rpms I am spinning..
current cam is a Thunder Racing 224/224 .561/.561 112LSA

what suggestions would yall have as to what lifters to purchase.
If you need any more info please let me know. I will gladly let you know, so that you can help me out here
Thanks,
Daniel

Crane makes replacement lifters. So does Comp. Comp also make a racing style lifter called a comp "R". The "r"s are designed to run with little to no pre-load, so you either have to get adjustable rockers or shim your stock ones. Then there are the new Morel's. They are supposed to be the best. They give you all the racing parts and pre-load isn't as much of a concern as the Comp r's. You can get the Crane or Comps for around $200, but the Morel's weigh in at $500.

WOW $500
I had heard about the preload problems, with the "R" lifters. so shimming the springs will cure this?
I will have a set of 918's on it, will these still need to be shimmed?
and what and where do I get shims?
thanks again, Daniel

Stock lifters should be fine.

Yes, the stock lifter are hydraulic roller. Your set-up is pretty mild, so stock replacements from comp or Crane shoud work fine. With the R lifters, you have to place shims under the rocker bolts. It sets the rockers up higher to remove some of the preload.
