Am i pushing the motor too much? The qustion i have is when am i pushing the limits of my motors internals (connecting rod,pistons,what not). I am aiming for 400hp all motor throught a 4l60E and a PT4000, on top of that i want to hit 500hp on spray. At what hp level is too much for the internals? I dont that the trans wont hold it too long but what about the motor?
Your internals will be fine for awhile as long as you replace things like the timing chain, oil pump, small things like that. Your rearend and then your tranny are the weakest points.
