Default 427 start up

I need some help. Fired up the car today and it was making a roaring noise. So I shut it off. Getting 60lbs oil pressure,no knocking, no tapping. I did pull the fuel pump fuse to make sure to get oil pressure. Still doing the same thing. I pulled off a valve cover just to check things out. The first thing I noticed was that the head was bone dry. No oil what so ever. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Jim.

Mine makes lots of air sucking noise through the intake.. big cubes needs big air. I would let run for a few more, see if oil start moving up the rockers.. Also your IAC is prob. open sucking air on startup too.

Its probably the lifters.. Run it longer and they will pump up and then check through the oil filler hole to see if theres oil. goodluck bro, but you should be ok.
