Another important thing to consider is area under the torque curve. Peak numbers are only good for the bench. The guy with the most area under the torque curve (highest avg torque) will win neglecting driver error etc.

bad example, hell that car with more power might have the SAME power at the same RPM as the other car peaks...but the higher power car can keep climbing..
