Block is being done. Expirenced engine builders w/in Well the LS6 Block went off to the machine shop today to have the rotating assembly balanced, cylinders bored out .005 for the pistons and assembly of the crank, rods, pistons, rings and bearings and installed in the block.
I wanted to send it all off to JPR but didn't have the cash to ship it all to him <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />
So here it is, the machinist is an expirenced race engine builder but has never done an LS1. He is cutting his teeth on my block. I have known him for years and is honest as they come. Is there anything he needs to know about the LS1/6 blocks and the above work that I can relay to him about this build up? All the tech that can be passed his way would be very beneficial to us. Torque Specs, Clearances for bearings, any special cylinder honing procedures, etc...
