Valve diameter Is there a formula for figuring the correct valve sizes to use on a particular motor?
I'm running a 325 ci , 5.3L w/ 1.89 in. and 1.55 ex. valves on a 3.78'' bore. With head work, would there be any benefit going up to say a 2'' intake valve. Heres a picture of a 2'' valve used on 5.3L heads.

Does shrouding seem like it would take affect?

There are plenty of people running stage II 5.3 heads on the smaller ls1's
Dont sweat it on the 2.00 valve, it will work fine
