Just completed installing my cam & springs. With my Brother's help it took us a day in a half, The springs & valve seal's were no problem with the Crane tool, about 2hours (great tool!!!). Had no issues pulling the cam but did slide in 2ea 1/4" rods just in case. Was planning a chain replacement but the old chain was still in limits. The car sound's great but is in need of a tune, Sent Jason @ TSP my edit file for help
. Im hoping for .4 gain in the 1/4 mile, That will put me in the 11sec range with some good weather. This site is the best for our car's, alot of good information & advice THANKS..

PZ, thanks for asking. Check my "Cam Installed" thread for details.
You really led me in the right direction in helping to pick out a cam, I greatly appreciate it! The 224 112 is the perfect cam for me. After taking my car for a long ride yesterday, the pcm has really adapted. Idle is perfect. I changed my pe vs rpm back to stock before changing the cam, so I'll most likely need to adjust that, and maybe the IFR table if the cam has changed the LTFTs. I'm gonna scan her next time on the road. No one seems to talk about about the other benefits of a cam install like no more ticking, and a really tight sounding valvetrain. It's such an amazing mod in so many ways: more power, great sounds, tight valvetrain, plus I learned so much more about my car. It wasn't easy for me, but so worth it.
