Default Head recommendations

anyone know of a good flowing set of heads that will take a cam up to .610+ lift AND wont break the bank? thanks.

Check out LS1Speed.com They have quite a few heads to choose from. I would recommend the RGR Heads they sell. They perform great and they're a fair price.

You should check out Precision Race Components from racetech.com . Just search racetech on here and you'll see the thread about the results for those heads, amazing for the price to say the least. I think the guy put down over 450 with the 5.3L heads and a 225/225.

Yes he did also ran a mid 11 at over 120mph on his first trip to the track with the baby cam. Hope to run a 11.30 or better tomorrow night.

well, i emailed TSP about the clearence of the prc heads and an MS3. mike replied that he wasnt sure, most customers flycut anyway so they can deck and run a smaller head gasket, but if they did it would be close. ill continue to research the prc heads, i was just looking for another option
