Installing Valve Cover Gaskets...
What a pain in the azz to get them to stay in.
Is there any tricks out there to get them to stay in the slot?
I washed my covers and gaskets in dawn soap really well so they are spotless and they still won't stay in the groove. I tried GMs way of going in on a angle. That works for a few seconds and the they pop back out by the time your almost done.

I thought that was the easiest thing on the planet to install!
It took me 5 minutes for both covers.
I just make sure the covers were dry, took the old ones out, and put the new ones in. If you have some slack where it meets at the end when you get done, you need to pull back up that side of the covers and just go straigh down with the gasket, almost pust down and away from where you going to end in the center. This will take up the slack of it.
I hope this helps, I know pictures would be better.
Cheers.
