Default Cartek X package?

My friend is about to do h/c, was looking at this package and saw they got awsome #s with it. My question is will it work with a a4 with tuning? Dont they use the 224/228 cam with thier heads on that package? Also I thought I heard something about the #s they posted being bogas? Is anyone running this package at all or did at one time?

Thanks
Jeremy

It certainly will work with tuning on a A4 but pistons have to be fly cut b/c of fast ramp of cam and not only are the numbers NOT bogus but they have been verified and independant dyno shops and have been backed up by high 10 sec time slips at different drag strips.

GO FOR IT but i HIGHLY Recommend that they do the install and TUNE as they are the MASTERS of tuning in their own PRODUCTS and you may not get the same results with a different tuner.

I do know for the a fact that the pistons are fly cut b/c of the milling of Cartek's LS6 heads which are milled to make 11:0 to 1 compression. Carteks best performing 2x package or whatever its called, the one putting out between 460 to 470 rwhp on M6 C5s, do in fact call for the flycutting of the pistons and i know for a fact that this is what Cartek does and recommneds for their top producing H/C X package which has put folks in the 10s in their c5s with stock cubes and bottom end. Dave at Cartek has told me this personally as well as many others who have the x package.

Didn't know about the milling job. Makes sense now.
