Ummm ported oil pump contents??!!??

Ummm ported oil pump contents??!!?? Alright...... the shop that is building my motor ordered me a new SLP ported oil pump. Engine is already together and i've been reading on here about the problems with that dang o-ring. I asked them if they put a new one on and they looked at me funny and said I dunno. 
So my question is.... Has anyone here bought the SLP oil pump and if so did it come with a new o-ring. If it did then i'm sure they put it in. But if not i need to get one and put it on before i get the motor back in the car. Or if the old one was installed back correctly does it really matter? I new i should have built the damn thing myself!!
