The second car was also a 01 car so it had the 241 castings

I was running a similarly spec'd Comp cam that has 236/236 .579/.579 114 and made 505rwhp and 477rwtq with a 402 iron block and stage III TEA heads. This cam might be for sale. If someone wants it send me a PM.

Wonder if it's worth it for me to replace my 224/228 581 112+2 XER with this?

I know I'm thinking the same thing but I got a GT2-3 cam. My only problem is will I have to switch out gears to make this car run perfect? I'm so used to my drivabiltiy with the sleeper cam that I'm scared I might not like the surges at lows rpms. I do have ls1edit so maybe it might work out. Those #'s are impressive. So tell us how it feels after you have some miles on it.

How's the driveability so far? And a sound clip would be cool too

Driveability is excellent. This is the first car i've ever tuned, but it gets better and better. I still have some slight surging at low rpms and very light throttle that I'm trying to iron out. I'd love to get a soundclip, but I'm at college so maybe sometime during spring break. I have the idle smoothed out a lot from where I started. On the stock tune it really sounded like I had a huge cam. Now, you can def. still tell its in but its more of a smooth lope, not one that surges a little like when on stock tune.

Those #'s are from a 01 head right? Wouldn't be the same on 98-00 heads. I'm interested in seeing your numbers and some track times.

I see people commenting on the fact its not a 98-00 car. Just how much better are the heads on the 01-02 cars?
