'00 LS1.....

It's trying to over-heat, after running fine since I first got it running in my RX7. That's been about 8 months.

I took off the radiator cap, and it was "dirty". the underside had, like dirt or something on it. I think something is getting clogged up. It also foams a lot with the cap off. I've been running Dexcool & distilled water.

Can I safely use some of that "backflush" stuff that Prestone and Zerex sale? The bottles don't say anything about effects on an aluminum engine like ours.
