Heads for 5.3 in Silverado
Heads for 5.3 in Silverado I've been searching for a H/C combo for my truck. I think I've decided on a VHP 062 cam (high lift version of their ASP KICKER), but I'm having trouble finding heads. It seems that the majority of the 5.3 heads have been worked with bigger valves (too big for a 5.3) and set up for a 5.7L's bigger bores.
Can you guys help me find a good head for my truck? I'll be adding a Trailblazer converter or a Yank 2600 soon. My truck is not a drag truck, in fact I've never been to the track, so I'm looking for street performance.

call VHP and tell them what you want. i'm sure they'll get you a set of heads done the right way for you. i just had them do a set of 4.8L heads for me. seeing as you are getting their cam, might as well get their heads also.
