Default 5.3 Heads

Alright i was wondering what valve size i should go with either the 2.055 or the 2.08 intake and the 1.60 exhaust? If i should go with the X1 cam, TR230 224, or the TR227 224? Also how much do i have to shave the heads to get the most compression ratio out of the heads? And what kind of P/V clearance would i have with this combo or am i going at it totally the wrong way? If you could help me in any way thanks.

Unless you are going with a big bore block, limit your valve size to 2.02"/1.57". Properly installed with a 224º cam you should not have any p/v issues.

Good luck,
