the throttle body is upside down because the wholes in the intake are wrong as you can see in the first pic. But i will give them the benefit of the doubt and say hopefuly they did that on purpose. no bashing hear. now some one make a sheet metal truck intake.

A couple things to note... The throttle body is upside down because it allows us to have a perfectly straight shot to the plenum. Regular mount would have an upward angle we we're not happy with. The intake is a custom order but will not fit LS1 or LS6 heads. If you haven't noticed they are C5R heads! The motor also has a ATI dampner and looks a little strange because with the Jesel belt-drive setup, the stock front cover is not used (which protrudes). The Jesel cover is opposite and makes the snout look longer then normal.

[/qb]
It's not odd really, I believe it looks like a ATI Super Dampner. I don't believe it's fluid. There aren't any fluid dampner's for the LS1 I've seen except for this one guy that sells them on Ebay. [/QB]
I have seen that damper on ebay... What is the story behind it? Has anyone on this board used it yet?

It's manufactured by C.A.T., and is SFI 18.1 certified...

So far it's working great!

We have a few customers with the ATI-dampner setup, so if anybody is interested give us a call.
The Jesel belt-drive is a prototype LS1 set that I beleive is available now. There is some milling that has to be done to the block that will be neccesary to run the belt-drive. An external oil-pump is also necessary. We use a stock pan with a 'floating' pickup. Purely a race car mod, Drag/Road-Race! If any customers are interested we can do it while the block is in the machining process. It is a great way to quickly fine tune your cam on the dyno while elimating the harmonics at the same time!

Front end clearance is a big issue with my swap. I had to notch the one frame rail a little even with the y-body ASP. If I could bolt a small v-grove pulley I wouldn't have to notch at all. I guess it wouldn't matter for my set up for it is already done, but I always have people asking about it and if I could recommend a better way I would. aswanson@mc.net
