I have seen that damper on ebay... What is the story behind it? Has anyone on this board used it yet?

It's manufactured by C.A.T., and is SFI 18.1 certified...
So far it's working great!
The Jesel belt-drive is a prototype LS1 set that I beleive is available now. There is some milling that has to be done to the block that will be neccesary to run the belt-drive. An external oil-pump is also necessary. We use a stock pan with a 'floating' pickup. Purely a race car mod, Drag/Road-Race! If any customers are interested we can do it while the block is in the machining process. It is a great way to quickly fine tune your cam on the dyno while elimating the harmonics at the same time!

Front end clearance is a big issue with my swap. I had to notch the one frame rail a little even with the y-body ASP. If I could bolt a small v-grove pulley I wouldn't have to notch at all. I guess it wouldn't matter for my set up for it is already done, but I always have people asking about it and if I could recommend a better way I would. aswanson@mc.net
This thread is 4 years old.. Thats TWICE the average life expectancy of the car itself..
