Default 43k miles, cam ok?

Well my car has 43k miles and change on it, doesnt getting driven nearly as much as it use to. Looking to put a cam in it, just wondering if you guys think the motor will handle the extra power no problem? I dont want the car to become unreliable, i love just being able to hop in and turn the key and go. I'm obviously doing springs/pushrods with the cam, also planning oil pump and timing chain. Think the motor will take it? Aggressive cam.

shouldn't be a problem.my car had 61000 miles on it when i did my heads and cam.this may sound obvious, but just make sure everything is clean before you put it in.good numbers by the way.enjoy the extra power.

No problem. Hell, I know guys that have superchargers on 100K+ LS1 motors and they're still going strong.

i put my cam in at 77k and its running great! but with an aggressive cam, youll want stiffer springs, and stiffer springs require more of a warm up time so you may not be able to, "hop in and turn the key and go" as quickly. just a word of advice
