Default ls6 build up

on texas speed.com they have the zl-402 high compression rotating assembly for teh ls1..will it fit a ls6 block? w/o any modifications to the block.

not w/o resleaving. the 402 is 4" bore and 4" stroke, you can only get a basic hone out of the ls1/ls6 block. its why the SLP 402 shortblocks are build using a 6.0 iron block.

so i can buy the 6.0l block and that kit will work?

yes, b/c the 6.0L block uses a 4" bore stock. so does the new LS2 block.

yes. but your better off just buying the complete and assembled 402 shortblock they sell rather then buying the block and rotating assembly seperate. unless you want to just use the block as your base and by the components of your choice.

thats what i plan..im really nto sure i wanted to do a build up of the zl-1 motor and punch out around 610 such as the o2 zl1 camaro..but i cant seem to find rotatign assemblies for teh ls6 block.
