LS6 Casting # question Anyone know the difference between a #317 and a #243. I believe that the #243 comes on the Z06's and the #317's are from other LS6 apps. But what are the differences.

#317 are 6.0l castings. These nearly identical intake and exhaust ports compared to a LS6 head, but a 71cc chamber shaped more like a LS1 casting. The LS6 has a 64cc chamber.
