A couple questions with pics!!!
Also, I got to take a peak at the top of the valves. What the heck is this on the top of this valve? Its an intake valve by the way.
Looks like carbon buildup on the valve too from oil in the intake stream and/or just combusion gases that get past the intake valve during overlap.
when properly installed.The problem is people don't put the protector over the valve stem when they install the seal, the seal gets cut and you cant see it.Now the motor
smokes the and the seals get blamed when it was install error. You can not pull the valves on this set up without changing the seals as the keeper grooves or valve tip can tear a portion of the seal.These seals were the standard in the industry for years
and can still be used with the proper installation procedure.
