VHP cam
Does anyone have or used a VHP boss cam?? It looks very interesting. I'm definitly more into getting the most tourqe out of a cam than anything else. Also would this cam be to much for emissions? and how does it compare to a TR 224/224 112LSA? THX

I believe you are talking about "The Beast"
Hmm, I would think it should make more power than a TR224.
And with a degree of overlap of -6 at .050 compared to TR224/112 of 0, it would do better on nitrous.

I'm running (what used to be) the next one down to the tamer side, in my 6.0.
I love this cam. If the Boss is anything like the 'Kicker, it'll give you lots of useable power on the street. Mine comes alive pretty good around 2K, with a big fat torquey powerband to 6K.
I had a 220/220 112 in before, but that powerband felt very linear -- the more you revved it, the harder it pulled. This one's helping make power anytime you want it. It fits my driving style (and vehicle) much better.

Yeah, it looks like it starts to sign off after 3K on that dyno - but that's an unlocked 3rd gear pull, so I think it's common for it to look like that with an aftermarket stall?
I can definitely tell you it does't stop pulling after 3K!
I'd love to see some more numbres on this cam too. At least some feedback fom another member. It's really hard for me to get to the track or a dyno around here.
