another damn oil pressure ? on my 99 t/a with mods in sig i am seeing 50psi cold idle and 18-20psi on warm idle also just a tad below 40psi during cruising (2k rpm), maybe its just me but that seems alil low, an slp oil pump was installed with the engine. also im using 15w50 oil
any ideas or am i just too paranoid?

As long as it has been that way since the new pump went in you should be fine. If you have noticed a drop lateley there may be a problem.
I am running a TSP ported LS6 pump and I see 45 psi hot idle. Thats with 20/50 oil.
20psi or so on a stock pump or similar is normal.

That's where mine was when I replaced my oil pump and the o-ring on the pickup tube. I think it was more the o-ring than the oil pump, but regardless, I have much more peace of mind. Oil pressure now goes no lower than 38 psi.

i have 40+ psi hot with a stock pump at idle, 60+ when first fired up in the morning cold.
at cruise ~2k rpms mine is at 60psi as well. I use mobile-1 0/40 and a k&n filter.
car has 25K on it.
i'd be a bit leary of that big of a drop from hot to cold.
