Now I Am Going With Worked Heads Milled .030 And A 232/240 597/609 112lsa Cam And Other Little Goodies Like Nitrous And All The Extra Junk. All In All Will The Piston Wack??? I Know I Will Have To Degree The Cam, I DEGREED My Other Cam So I Am Familiar. But I Just Want To Know If Anyone Has Gone That Big With Milled Heads. Thanks Guys And Or Girls

you'll need to fly cut.

is it ok to fly cut the piston since im spraying 150 i mean i know the pistons are already weaker then hell and taking more material off wouldnt help out at all. i think since everything is apart i am just going to get forged pistons with 7cc valve reliefs how does that sound or is that a dumb idea.

since the motor is apart then yes i'd go forged pistons over flycutting the stock ones. though i'd go w/ 2cc valve reliefs over the 7cc.

yes 2cc will allow plenty of clearance. 7cc will as well but you'll loose more compression over the 2cc.

FWIW im running a set of custom diamond pistons domed 6.6 w/ 2cc's. a 234/242 112 cleared easy w/ 5.7 heads milled .030. my new cam has yet to be determined.

6.6cc is the effective dome

this is a pic of my shortblock, notice the domed piston. as far as power the new setup realistly will be done in about a month. im just waiting on my cam and then everything can be installed, its about 10k worth or parts. numbers will be up as soon as i have them.
