Default Shimming the oil pump

How much PSI would shimming the oil pump net you? I'm talking about normal shimming (.100-.110). Thanks for the help!

hey you mean that when you get a double roller and you used those shims on the pump you get more oil pressure?

or are you talking about something else?

He's talking about shimming the spring inside the oil pump to build more pressure. Would that give more pressure at idle too, or just at higher revs?

I hear it gives more pressure all around, but I'm wondering just how much? I've heard 7 (with port), 10 (w/o), 20 (w/o)... lots of inconsistency.
