Default misfire.. help..

yea i've done a search.. i can't figure this out..

i've replaced all the spark plugs..

new set of taylor spark plug wires..

bought a new coil pack and played musical chairs switching it out..

pulled both valve covers and all the springs look fine

i can't figure out where this damn misfire is coming from

i have a z06 cam and all the bolt ons.. tuned by mti.. the misfire codes were turned off i guess cause w/ any cam it sets off misfire codes.. but not like this ..

its made the car a pain in the *** to drive.. i'm starting to hate it.

It's your taylor wires. They look nice but I went thru 2 set's. Each set had 3bad wires. You need to OHM them out, or just put your stock one's back on. When I put the header's on I purchased a new set & ohm them out before install & 3 of them were off the charts. I ended up sending them back & the next set also had some bad wires. I ended up buying MSD's with no issues. A partner of mine was also chasing a misfire issue & found a couple of bad taylor wires.

Update! you were right it was the Taylor Spark plug wires.. ordered OEM plug wires put them on and the car runs like a champ!! misfire completely gone..

i would definately never recommend Taylor Wires now.. these 8.5mm fell apart when taking them off.. crappy *** wires
