I am installing my rollmaster double roller timing chain I have Put the spacers in my oil pump as required. The thing is there is not much space at all between the chain and the oil pump. I tried to slide a small zip tie between the chain and pump and it didnt go through on the passanger side. a piece of paper would go through. is that enough space? thanks.

 

You will be fine the balancer will push the timming chain gear closer to the block.

 

thanks. i forgot the gear in the oil pump can move around a bit. before when i was looking at it I was thinking it would just pull the oil pump even closer.
