Lunati Cams....any input
how do y'all feel about the 221º/221º .559/.559 114º lsa ???.....do you think I will lose any torque down low or will it pretty much respond like stock off idle
1) John Partridge's "Bullet cams" is not an "old" company so that means that he/they are not able to compete in the LS1 market?
No truth there!
2) Harold's recent hiring as "Chief Cam Developer" for Lunati means that he didn't have LS1 lobes in the past, previous to his hiring by Lunati?
No truth there!
3) Everything that is coming out "now" for the LS1 engines is NFG because it didn't come out in 1997?
No truth there!
Being in Memphis, you are/were a Comp Cams employee or something? Maybe a little one sided? Hmmm?
If so, I agree Comp makes some great products, and I sell thousands of their components every year, but it doesn't mean by default that they are the only LS"X" cam and valvetrain source out there.

Any "non-LS" cam lobe shows some delta when used on the larger blank. Ford small block cam lobes can grow 3-4 degrees when using a SBC lobe in the design. Two or three degrees when using a BBC. Does that make it wrong? Nope! Done every day in the "real world"!
So what, if any cam design uses an alternate master lobe to a "LS Specific" lobe to get what an LS1 customer needs for his/her engine. It WORKS!
EVERYONE who has knowledge on camshaft "design" is aware of these parameters and any cam "grinder" can do whatever is required to get the job done per spec.
Did you actually research these facts or is it "you" that doesn't know what "you're" talking about...
Geeezzz.... It's getting like the Corral in here...
