Question any issues with comp r lifters?

has anyone had issues with these? older ones. ones from about 1 1/2 -2 years ago

As long as you get the preload just right they should be good. I decided not to even bother with them without adjustable rockers.

cool, i had them, i used them for a while, but they seemed to be off a tad so i swapped back to my stock ones, but i'll keep the comps incase

Yeah I am having issues with them. I've tried tons of different things with preload and am still having valve float problems past 5500. I'm pulling them out ASAP and going back with stockers.

Ive never heard of any problems with people that installed them correctly (removed the cosmolene in mineral spirits and soaked them in oil) and preloaded them .008-.010cold the first time.

I have 6k miles with no issues myself.

mine seemed good for a while, but then seemed to not be working so good after 20,000 miles.

I did all of the above and had 3 of them come apart. The cups on the top got beat out of them.
