Default C5R Valve Covers

I recently purchased a set of C5R valve covers, and have made up a set of gaskets to get around the O-ringing of the head problem. Now I'm stuck on the correct length of spacer for the hold-down bolts. The ones that come with the covers are apparently designed for the C5R, and won't work with LS6 heads. Anybody solved this problem yet?

I dont use the spacers either, they dont even come close to touching the head plus they were hitting my valve springs. Just dont go crazy tightening them down.
