Default Just recieved a 383 Eagle kit.....

for a customer and let me tell ya- very nice!! 6.200 rods, steel crank, JE pistons and rings, and Clevite bearings just beggin' to be balanced and assembled(which will be soon). Kudos to Eagle, always have liked their stuff but really do now.

Just make sure you check all the bearing clearances. We had to line hone my block to get .0020 with +1 bearings with the fresh Eagle crank. With STD FM bearings, we were looking at .0030 after line hone, and .0045 before line honing.

Oh yeah man, the machine work has not been done yet. We machine the block for the hard parts, all clearances are taken into account. Havent got the main studs from ARP yet to line bore, back ordered until around the 15th.
