choices I'm sorta new to ls1's, but i've been hanging around in the shadows around the site for the past couple weeks just trying to learn stuff. I'd like to get a 98 and up ls1 of some sort soon and i want to end up with a low to mid 11 second somewhat driveable daily driver. I dont care so much bout mileage, just that it will be reliable. I was debating on wether or not to get some kind of stroker kit, tr224 cam and some ported 6 liter heads with a built 9 inch and all the other goodies. The other choice is to do some kind of turbo kit. I dont have a gigantic budget, but money to throw around. Either way the car will have all the same chassis/suspension mods, its just the motor choices that'll differ. What i like about n/a is i can have a fast street car, then on friday nights throw slicks on and squeeze a 125 shot and have a 10 second car. I'd like to know how streetable running some kind of all motor combo is compared to running a turbo kit.
