boggin down at 5500??

Default boggin down at 5500??

what would be the diagnosis is i were full throttle and all of a sudden at around 5500 rpm it just falls completely on its face...and throws an SES code

this isnt valve float is it??

anyone have experience with this??

the SES code is why im speculating whether its valve float or not

i havent found out yet, im gonna get a buddy to hook autotap up to it and see...

we just put a bigger cam in and i think thats what threw the code

falling flat at 5500 rpms is a classic symptom of bent pushrods... do you have chrome moly pushrods in that setup? If you do, they shouldn't be bent or broken... if it's not the pushrods you might want to check to see if any of your valve springs are damaged or maybe a lifter.
