i have a thread goin on heads too but this seems to be more informative lol what kinda stuff would you want in a heads, how many cc, valve sizes, everything. there is so much out there to think about with heads and it just seems that most people just wanna sell waht they have in stock. just want a head that makes great power. i keep hearin about the AFR's and how they make good power and have room to work. thinking about 205's but i dont really even know lol dont know if i a ltage 2 5.3 head is better or what?!
in a 5.3 head I like to see the following things (N/A 346)
2.055/stock exh.(5.3)
intake port around 225-230cc flow... mid 250s @.400, low 320s @ .600
exhaust port around 75-80cc flow... 260-270 with a pipe at .600
chamber volume of about about 60cc
and always good consistancy plays a major role in a good head
