Default Have TEA Heads? Inside please.

What is your overall impression of your TEA heads? Do they flow the number advertised and more importantly make the power expected?

Any opinions on the TEA Stage 3 5.3’s?

Thanks!

Jeremy

I love mine I do think they are honest about there flow numbers they tell you what the bore size was and that they use a pipe on the exhaust to simulate headers etc. I know my car runs very well also, but then again I am FI.

I have an early set of TEA stage 2 heads. I have had NO problems with them, in the 2 years they have been on. Car makes good power, and runs strong. I'll be going back to TEA when I need another set of heads.

If I was to buy a set of heads it would be TEA, MTI, or Vinci.

from my first set (11.31@120 in 3400 lb car with a 216/220 cam) to the set they are doing up now I have been very happy with them, I used to work there and I know they will do good work on every head or I wouldn't go back.

I love the TEA heads that I have. You can see that I have the Stg 1.5 5.3 heads and they make a ton of power. I won't go any place else but there if I decide to get another set of heads. Great staff as well as heads.

My 99 T/A has early TEA S2 5.3's on it. Two years and counting. Quailty wise no issues. All in all my experience with TEA was very good. For my 2nd set of heads for my next project I went back to TEA, because I know from 1st hand experience Brian Tooley is fair and honest. While some personal matters have intruded and put my 2nd project on hold, I'm looking forward to getting the 91 RS running one of these days with the TEA S2.5 LS6 heads. The S2.5's were exactly what I expected. Should I find myself in the market for a 3rd set of heads at some point, TEA will be at the top of my list.

I made between 408-418 with a set of 5.3 stage two's. Six speed, 12 bolt, stock tires. LS6 intake. Long tubes. Cam was a 224-228 @114 .585. For what it's worth.

My dealings so far with them have been great. He's been honest with certain hold ups and never once has he told me any BS. I'm sure as soon as my AFR 2.5's get here, I'll be completly happy and ready to break a record or 2.
