Driveability: 346 + T-rex or 240s

Driveability: 346 + T-rex or 240s Does anyone have the T-rex with a 346/7? I am debating going with a set of AFR 225s + a 242/250 XER. Really want to know the driveability.

I do and I am not that far from you in Westminster. I am running on a mailorder tune right now but the car still runs fine. I get an occasional rpm dip when I get out of the gas at low rpms but nothing to bad. She doesnt like to run without part throttle when cold either (after about 10 seconds it is fine and will hold idle)

With 4.10 gears it runs very well, my car would idle at 950 rpm and could cruise as low as 1,700 rpm without bucking. Cold/hot starts were great as well.
Streetability is more in the tune than the cam, the cam can be tuned in pretty smooth.

You'll be fine, especially with your compression. I'm a touch over 13:1 with a 4600 stall, I don't have my 12 bolt yet so I still have my 3.23 gear and it is very drivable. I'm also running on a mail order tune.

Not to jump in to your post but, but what are the specs on the ESP1 Cam? what kindove power are you putting down, any track times?

the specs are kind of a shop thing. its a low lift cam tho, not very big at all. i hate to sound like an ***, but the r+d on this cam is big so i have no right to give out the specs. if ESP wants to they can. sorry.
but power wise threw a th 400 12 bolt and heavy N2O parts in my motor i made 390 rwhp and 465 rwtq. i have no NA numbers, but i went 9.9 on my 3rd trip down the 1/4 this season on a 200 shot. the cam and motor loves the spray!
