Sounds suspicously like your car
Does he care about driveability or a higher idle?

At like the end of last year some guy on here had a Z06 and took his car to thunder and they put in a TR227 and it gave him like 400+ at the wheels. Dont remember the details, but I do know that the guy was more than happy with it

Nope,not mine Chris...
I'm just gonna re-ring my old motor and put the Cartek heads back on..
Yea he cares about idle,He'll put up with alittle surge but doesnt want something that idles at 1000 rpm.Cold start roll is fine until it warms up but no stalling and no higher than a 6400 shift point.

I have a buddy with a 99 Camaro.
He got a low mileage 02 LS6 engine and wanted to know what cam would work the BEST with his setup?
He's running 4.10's/YTP4200 and most boltons/sups mods along with flps/no cats and threw a cutout.
He doesnt want to port the heads and doesnt wanna deal with piston notching. He wants the best cam for ET/MPH without shifting higher than 6400 rpm.
He will change the valve springs if need be but if he could get away with running the stock 02 LS6 springs he would too.
Any CAM help?
I told him I believe with the right cam the car COULD run mid 11's at 3400lbs?
FWIW...
I suggested the NEW Comp 220-224 534-542 112,this way he can still use the LS6 springs.
