Default checking for bent push rods question

Hi all

Long time reader, first time poster

I want to check my 2002 Z06 for bent push rods, have done some nasty miss shifts. My question is after I remove the rockers can I just tork them back down (22 foot\pounds) or is there some kind of procedure I have to do.

I did do a search but still was unclear about it.

Thanks
Bud

torquing them down to 22lb/ft is fine. And if you care the valvecover bolts are 8lb/ft

Do you need to have each valve in the closed position?

That is what I was thinking but it sounds like after you take them off you can just bolt them back in as is?

Thanks

Yes, you can just bolt them down to the proper torque as posted.
