Default HS rocker arm preload question....

Those of you with HS rocker arms, did you set/check preload, or just torque and go? My valvetrain is as listed below. I torqued them to 24ft/lbs, should I try and check/shim them, or should they be good? What are you guys doing?

APE S1 5.7 heads, milled <.010
FMS 229/231 113+4 cam
HS rocker arms
Stock OEM lifters
7.400" chromoly pushrods
Comp 978 springs

Thanks, Shawn

I used them on my new AFR's. I checked the preload with a dial indicator. On my setup I got .050". George at TTP told me that .030" to .080" is fine, so I turned the cranck until the valve was closed and torqued to 24 ft/lbs. I also used some blue threadlock
