Is there any difference? and is one better than the other?

eh, i run a FIPK. i think it looks really nifty compared to a lid. they give about the same gains until you're at higher speeds where many people believe the fipk sucks in more air because of its open design. dyno results are almost exactly the same. if you want to pay a little more and like the look, get the fipk. i have no regrets

Yeah, FIPK here too. Lid could never seal properly and ended up guetting dust in intake (saved by the oil we get in the intake, so it caked it on intake instead of going into cylinders).
With N2O dry injection in front plate it is a mean looking set up.

I like my FIPK too. I had the Clear lid (MTI I think) and never really felt like it helped. When I got the FIPK, I could actually tell a Seat-of-the-pants difference, especially in low-to-mid range pull.

Get lots of compliments on the looks as well (but I got that with the clear lid too)

Quite a difference in price, but worth it in my book!
