Default 450 h/c

I'm new to Ls1s and have been hanging in the shadows around here for a while. I would like to get a 98 and above camaro m6 and it seems like the best way to get good power and times for cheap is a head/cam package, 9 inch, and some nitrous. This car will be a daily driver, just to school and back and around town sometimes, so daily drive means that basically it wont die when i drive it for more than 10 minutes. I'd like to add some forged pistons in the mix just to be safe, and want to end up making around 450 rwhp or more. I live in ca, but i still plan on running long tubes and a true dual system with no cats. I was thinking about the tr224 cam and some ported ls1 heads, anyone got any better ideas?
