Default porting LS1 heads

i saw some pictures of professionaly ported LS1 heads and i have some notes :

1- at intake port roof they took some material from port entery all the way to valve seat.

2- they also took material at port floor from port entery all the way to short side radius to valve seat

3- they didn't touch the side walls of the intake ports all the way to bowels to the valve seat.

4- they took some material from the valve guide boss.

5- for the exhuast ports they only took materail from the area of the port roof from the valve seat to just after the valve guide boss, they didn't touch the port entry. and some material had been taken from the valve guide boss.

as to what i can remember the LS1 5.7 heads have a little bad intake port floor and short side radius that need some work unlike the LS6 heads so maybe the LS6 heads don't realy need port work in the intake port floor and short side radius.

any one has tips or comments on what i found? thanks.
