Default Bent push rods

I recently bought an used 2002 corvette LS1, 22k on the odo, auto trans, no obvious mods, it looked very clean and well cared for but you know how that goes. After buying the car I noticed ticking from the engine on cold starts that stopped at operating temps. Dealer is replacing three bent pushrods. Is this common or is this a sign the car was abused? A friend says thats a common sympton of a car that was no2'ed. Thanks for any help

I didn't think it was that easy to bend a pushrod on an auto.
