Default Comp Cam 941 Spring Question

What is the max lift on these puppies?? And I have been hearing some things about having to replace after market springs yearly while the LS6 springs are a once and done deal.

If you are going to change your springs, you should go with the 26918. The hold up to .625 lift. If you have any other questions, feel free to email me at badboyspeed18@yahoo.com.

941s are not the best and i currently run a tr230/224 (see their site for specs) and while i have had 3 broken springs, the inner dampner has saved my but all 3 times (didnt drop a valve) if it would have been aonther spring( cept a dual spring) it would not have been pretty. 941 are decent while 918s are good but still break once in a while, but then again your reading a post from someone who ran a hotcam on stock springs for 6 months lol ( none of them broke BTW)

941s are not bad springs, they just dont work well in an LS1 due to it having different harmonics. How often you replace springs depends on the cam lift, how aggressive the lobes are, and how high and how often do you rev the motor. LS6 springs will NOT last forever. Any spring has a fatigue life.

Well I just called the local Chevy dealer and got a complete set of LS6 springs for $95 but they won't be here for like 2 weeks, so i am goin to push my luck and run the stock springs.
