Default Anybody run this cam?

Has anyone run this cam? Lingenfelter 218/229 560/560 113lsa .I'm going to do a heads, cam, QTP longtube/ 3" ORY, LS6 intake, Vigilanti 3600 conv install real soon. I have a 02 LS6 cam, but was wanting something that might make a little more power while still being relatively mild. Heads are 853 castings CNC ported with 2.02/1.60s and 67cc chambers. I would like to be in the 11.60-11.80 et range. Will this cam get me there? Rest of mods in sig.
Your input appreciated! Thanks Floyd

I don't know of anyone personally, but Hot Rod or Car Craft did an article on the world's fastest/quickest LS1 based cars 5 or 6 m0nths ago. They had one car that did run this cam and the LPE ported LS6 heads. If I recall, and I'm pretty sure I am correct, the car ran an amazing 10.50@ 128mph.! However, I believe that this cam was discontinued some time back at LPE. If you are interested in a similar cam, I have a brand new LPE cam, a newer grind they released several months ago that is very close, still in box with cam card-never run. Specs are .566 lift on I&E and 222 duration at .050 lift on I&E ground on a 112 LSA. This cam would be a stronger running cam, especially in the mid-range due to the tighter LSA and more intake duration (222- up from 218) and less exhaust duration (down from 229), which would build a little more compression/cylinder pressure. I would be willing to let it go for $270.00 shipped to your address. I am going to a large displacement motor now and need a bigger cam.

Sounds a lot like the C1 cam...

a very strong cam if I say so myself. Nice power without sacrificing daily-driver torque or requiring gears
