Default Stay 382 or go bigger?

I plan on a big shot, not huge, just more than the typical 150 shot. Anyways, currently have a 382 all bore motor. just toss in a new rotating assembly and i'm good to go. question is, is there a point of diminishing return? 436 too big? 4.125 bore/4.125 stroke = 441 too big? basically asking if a nitrous shot on something that big be dangerous to the longevity of the motor? obviously it's not the safest thing in the world, that i realize. should i stick with a more reasonable 410-427 range?

The only thing to be worried about are the sleeves becoming thin at that much bore. You'd be safer off with a 4.100 bore or a 4.125 bore. Peace of mind goes a long ways. The power differences wouldn't really be missed. With that much power your ET is all in the 60'.

I have a 4.140 bore in alum block and plan to use a 200 to 250 shot. There is plenty of meat on the Darton sleves. I'm not to worried more, worried about head gaskets.
