Default ls1 eagle rotating assemblys? any info?

eagle rotating assemblys... what do ya'll think??? how cheap could i do this vs reusing the stock crank and running diamond pistons and lunati rods...
heres the link
http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...45&prmenbr=361

also anyone know what components are used in this kit? what compression ratio id want to run on a nitrous car running 95 octane.. also what shot could i do running pump gas? just give me some info on this.. there about 1500$ cheaper then lunati and for this reason i may be able to afford to do one.. but with the 374 or 383ci i would have too get a stroker cam and heads right away to make it work... right now i spray a 150 shot and i just want the motor to make more power and for me to know the engine can hold a 200 shot consistently... somebody just give me some feedback! reccomend heads too cuase im lost when it comes to flow #'s ect...

I believe the kits are OK, especially for the street. We have been selling and running Eagle stuff for years. There have been some qaulity control problems at times with their cranks, but haven't seen that with any of their LS stuff yet. The Eagle kits come with JE piston. To my knowledge there are only two dish sizes to choose from, one geared towards people running an LS1 head and the other for LS6 heads. E-mail me with more specifics about your combination and power expectations, I would be happy to offer some recommendations and qoute some prices.

I really like the fact they now have the 4.1 stroke crankshaft out now. I would really like to slap that into the LS2.

I thought about the Eagle kit, but I didn't like what the 6.2" rod does... causes the piston pin to be pushed even higher. I ended up going with a 6.125" rod and the off-the-shelf Ross stroker pistons. I *think* the Ross pistons are made from a more nitrous-friendly alloy than the Diamonds... which is why I chose them over the Diamonds. Even though the Ross have a pretty good cut (cc) taken out of them, my compression ratio was definitely increased over my old 346 setup (I'm using the same heads).
