Default What's the difference in pushrods?

Which is stronger "hardened or chromoly"? Isn't Chromoly, 4130 alloy? What exactly are hardened pushrods made of, and is "hardened" the same thing as "seasoned"? I'm looking at the Manley Chromoly's for $6.25 a piece from SDPC, do you guys recommend something else?

More often than not they are exactly the same thing though technically "hardened" pushrods are those that have had their sides specially hardened for use with guide plates to minimize wear when/if their sides come into contact with the plates.
