Default Simple question about head bore size.

Ok I have a 408 which has a 4.030 bore. The heads I am looking at have a 4.125 bore. Is that going to be ok or is having the larger bore going to cause a problem like lost velocity or something??

I would like to know also. I always hear that you dont want the chamber to be bigger than the bore. I hear this from engine builders and head porters all of the time, but then they go and gasket match the head and we all know that the gaskets arent the size of the bore. They are usually at least .030 or even bigger. In my case the gasket is .050 bigger and the head was matched to the gasket when my bore is only 3.78" .So how do they back this up?
