I am getting a real loud ticking noise from the driver side valve cover and I think it is a bad lifter. I took the valve cover off and and put each cylinder at TDC and I found one lifter that when you push on it, it feels real springy. You can push down on it and create a lot of clearance between the rocker arm and the valve. I think that means that it is bad but I am not sure because this is the first pushrod v8 I have ever owned and I am not sure what they are suposed to feel like. Any help is appreciated!
